st300 kickdown wire to new elec. choke?

st300 kickdown wire to new elec. choke?
i am swapping my jetaway with a th350 and my old q-jet with edelbrock. can anyone see any reason not to use the kickdown switch wire for the elec choke?

You mean as a 12v source? I don't see a problem with it.

Just make sure it's constant 12V with ignition on and not dependent on throtlle position. it shouldn't be, but anything is possible.

I assume he's referring to the power into the switch, not out of the switch to the converter.

thanks, joe. i had seen it before but honestly forgot about it. the oil pressure sender seems more practical.
