SS1 bolt on center cap dimensions?

I have a chance to pick up 4, 15×7 chebby star style steel rally wheels 4.75" bolt pattern with trim rings and lug nuts for cheap, right across the back alley and I work with the guy. I only have 3 SS 15" rims off a 76 Cutlass and finding one more might be fun and a bunch of driving. Anyone know the center hole dimension for the center on the SS1 wheel, I want to see if a set of the bolt on replacement caps will fit these rims to look more at home on my 70 Cutlass S.

Are you asking if the center caps, with Chevy SS are the same size as the ones with a Olds rocket, yes they are.

Yes. I figured so. I wish I had 4 of the 15" rims. I bought these. The Olds SS2 15" rims are getting hard to find and demand dollars.

If its the SS1 small centers you are describing they are the same size casting.
If the wheels come with the centers you can buy just the center Olds Rocket "metal sticker" and R&R the SS emblems. The backer caps and fasteners are the same. Keep in mind there are a couple different designs of this same wheel blank referred to as Magnum 500, or Ralley, or SS1. Some are all chrome no trim ring other are a combo of chrome, brushed and black paint. The Buick wheel is different. The spokes are not tapered as they merge out to the cap.

I thought you were talking about the Olds SS1 type wheels. The Olds SS1 caps will not fit that wheel

How do the SS 2/3 bolt on caps bolt on? There dimensions would also be nice.

Thats a late 70s early 80s Chevy wheel. The center slips over the lug nuts. SS1-3s will not work.

I found the 2.68" measurement for the SS1 bolt in center cap. I also see how the SS2/3 bolt on caps work. I may be able make some sort of Olds cap work.

These look like these center caps would fit. I would paint chrome and add Olds center decal.
