I have a bumper that I have to give back to them to redo, since it looks like crap. I dropped it off at Fall Carlisle last year, and had it shipped back to me. Once I unwrapped it, and looked at it in the daylight, it was the worse chrome job that I have ever had done. It must have been a bad week for them, since all their work that I have seen in the past has always been good. The bumper has a pink cast to it, which is totally unacceptable. I suggest that you look over your bumper real well in the daylight and not under the tent. When I called to tell them about it, they knew immediately what I was referring to, and said that they will redo it.

Well I had my 67 442 bumpers done by them with good cores and I say they came out perfect. Then I had the 67 TC bumpers done by them. The rear core was a mangled mess and these came out very nice. It was unbelievable what they did to fix the rear one. I do inspect under their tent but yes outside in the sun would be better to have a look. Guess they cant always hit a home run and since they did offer a redo I guess thats ok even though a hassle.

I will be arriving on Tuesday, and expect to be gone by Friday night. I might even have one space available, if one of my friends doesn't show up. Right now, it is still up in the air.

There seems to be a decent representation of CO members going this spring, so I'm going to throw this out there. I'm considering hosting a CO happy hour at Carlisle, probably Thursday, say at 5:00? I'll provide the adult beverages. Anyone interested (yeah, I know, free beer... DOH!).
