Spoke to Steve Minore last night

I was very excited when I got a call from Steve Minore last night. We spent about 45 minutes going over the details on the car, the history of it, and also getting to learn a little about each other. He is even a Tony Stewart fan, so that definitely makes him cool in my book!

He is a great resource and I'm glad that I was able to speak with him. His passion for these cars is obvious. Thanks Steve!

Yeah, I wish you could see this car before it leaves here but who knows? Maybe you'll make an unexpected trip. I've sent you enough pictures to keep you busy for a while. Sending the info on those October cars today.

And where can I see pics of your W31? Do you have any on here?

Glad you guys connected.

Bill, Steve was the first call I made when you and I first spoke about me possibly making a trip up to Indiana, PA to see what you had in your car and parts stash.

Thanks Terry. At that point it was all foreign to me, but I'm gaining expertise every day. Not near the expert at all, but I feel I can at least hold my own now.

These cars have a special place in history and it is nice to know there will always be the educated historians to guard them. Guys like Steve and others that really show the passion for getting the minor details right can make all the difference on these W cars.
