Solution to the hood tooth problem

I may have to get one of these. (Yeah, I've seen the section of pool noodle on the bottom of the tooth)

Get a couple hats with printed sayings such as..... "Get off my grass", "Don't touch my car", "Yes, its for sale...How much money do you have ?" ......and buy the universal insert for $5.41.

These wre handed out at the auto factory I worked at. Anyone who worked under the car carriers or in an area with low hanging machinery. You may still feel the impact, but you wont gash your head or get a contusion

I should wear my old hard hat at home while working on that one. My plant is bare head on the green aisles, bump cap, or ball cap with insert on trim and final, and hardhats for anywhere in chassis. I just wear a hardhat everywhere, I can get a large hardhat, and a large ball cap, but the the bump caps and/or the inserts only come in one size. My size 8 noggin needs large hats.

I'd try one for sure. Not that I hit my head much but every once it a while you get reminded a ball cap just hides a bump. 😁

I didn't know this until recently, but, in the NFL, if you are a ref and see an infraction, you throw your flag. If you see another infraction on the play, you throw your hat.

We are required to wear a bump cap out on the production floor. Better comfort vs a hard hat. Less head cheese too.
I have a callous on my head with the 68 3/4 cracked hood. Works well with 69 & 70s too. Ours have the integral battery op LEDs too.
