So I think I like these cars, new car thread

Over the weekend I purchased my 4th 1962 f-85 cutlass. One of our own members, ryanflemming, contacted me and asked if id be interested in it. I assume seeing I obviously have an interest in this particular model and I was in the same state, I told him I may be interested and would look at it. Well it was the straightest most rust free car ive ever considered buying, so I sold my chevy II daily driver to replace with his cutlass. I havent messed with it to much but i readjusted the dwell and did a few carb adjustments and its running decent but the carb is still a little funny, probably from sitting, and the trans is shifting strangely, shifting to neutral instead of second unless i go through the gears manually starting in first. With the car i received boxes of parts, i havent gone through them all yet, I also got a folder with receipts including a receipt for the engine rebuild in 2000 totaling nearly $3600. I think once i get the bugs worked out it will replace my nova quite nicely. These are the pictures the previous owner sent me.

Very nice looking car! What are your plans for it other than making it your new DD? The body and floor pans appear to be fairly solid; really surprising for a 52 year old car.

There are a few guys on this site with similar cars. Eric Jensen comes to mind - he's jensenracing77 on this site if you guys want to compare notes.

I just want to make a nice driver quality car. I plan to paint it, do the interior and just get all the mechanicals sorted out

you have two wagons though, you can only beat that by having 3 wagons or one with a 3rd row seat.

Much potential

I'll admit this is the first time I saw one but It looks solid and I especially like the wheels. What engine came in them? Will make a respectable daily driver. Congrats on the find!
