Service Manuals

Would anyone have 1972 Oldsmobile Chassis Service Manual available? I would also like to get the Fisher body manual as well, but the chassis manual will do for now.

You can register and download the '72 CSM here.

The FBM isn't available on line yet.

Both are also readily available on eBay, but a a price somewhat in excess of "Free."

Yeah I don't mind paying for a manual. But the $50+ for shipping seems rather excessive.

If you don't mind looking at the 1970 manual, it is available in .pdf format on WAC. Most of the components are the same as 72 http://wildaboutcarsonline.com/cgi-b...=9990381846034

Where are you located? I have a spare 'new' 72 Fisher Body Manual I would sell. Shoot me a PM and we can chat? $50.00 is high for shipping IMO but you never know what surprises the P.O. has in store now a days.

I think I paid $5 shipping for my '73 CSM.

The manual itself was $8.

To be more specific:

This one is $10 with $10 shipping (not very pretty, but you're not going to wear it, are you?).

Here is a search for '72 CSMs - it shows the one above plus 3 more.

Still not sure where you got the $50 shipping idea from...

Amazon is where I usully find my books as such. Got the CSM for $25 last year, used and in great shape. The Fisherbody manual isn't much help-as least to me.71 442.
