Hi All: I have been off the site for about three years after I sold my 1970 442 convertible w-30 4 speed. I love the fact that it is in the Brothers collection and recently I have been a part of an update video on the car. That car had a great story.

Many of you know the gold car and me after years of 442 ownership and at one time owning all three years 1970-71-72x vin W-30 convt 4 speeds. The time has come to sell my 1971 after 30+ years of ownership. I have listed it at the Scottsdale Russo and Steele auction in January. It is a nice rust free car that has been my driver for all the years I have owned it. I am just letting my friends know it is for sale and hopefully will go to a new owner that will be a good caretaker. I though it would be important to let you know it was for sale and I am planning on selling it at the auction. I am not expecting big bucks for the car since it is not a restored car or one with strong documentation but it is a really nice mostly original car with one repaint. This will be the first time since I was 17 years old that I have not owned a 442. WOW! If you have any questions please email me at smartpearl1@hotmail.com

Lee, you may want them to correct your ad:

"Oldsmobile produced 1304 442’s 110 W-30s 4 speeds are rare"

Wouldn't it sound more accurate like this?

"Only 1304 442 convertibles, 110 were W30s with 32 4-speeds"

Smile Buyer of Lees 442 Convertible

Can’t wait to get Lees 442 Convertible back to Nashville! Should have by middle of this week. What an exciting car to own. I’ve had numerous cars but this one checks all the boxes.

You gotta love it! If you look at my gallery I have one of the other 31 made and have been extatic too. I’ve been restoring it a little at a time so if you are looking to fix or clean up anything and I can help please feel free to reach out. All the best. Mark!
