scrapping carb bodies

scrapping carb bodies

I have two Q-jet bodies I have ripped apart to scrap. Question is, are they worth saving? One is 7043250, the other is 7040251. The 251 is 70 455 carb, the other ?. Bodies only, no innerds, might be warped. Go ahead and scrap or save either one?

I think the warpage might be key. If they are NOT warped, then I would definitely keep them. If they ARE warped, they may still be usable - I read on one company's web site that they resurface them to restore flatness.
