Score!

Finally found one. It will need an overhaul but man these seem to be elusive.

Congrats! That has a nice clear stamp on it. I wonder how many of these were thrown away and replaced with a Holly back in the day...

It should fall in line with my Jan built 70 442 as far as the date on it goes.

That pesky fuel filter housing has been epoxied in though so I see at minimum a heli-coil.

From the looks of the depressions in the front mounting holes, I'd say it has been off and on quite a few times. Look for a warped situation.

Just for fun I bolted it onto the 455 test mule after replacing the incorrect idle mixture screws, turned out
3 1/4 turns, it fired right up and idled nicely, no leaks either.

Thanks Jeff. It is a pretty sweet engine. It will be going in the 70 442 project one of these days or YEARS
they way I am going.

Double score.

Just un-wrapped these two beauties today. Came from the same 70 442 as the carburetor.
