Says documentation?

Well, it does say documentation?
Love to see the cowl tag.
Tires are a mere 25 years old, like new and it rides as good as it ever did...right into a guard rail.

A Framingham car, so it spent at least part of it's life in the rust belt, despite being in AZ now. Be afraid.

States in the comments he still has the original engine, could be a steal if that is included. Sell the Chevy engine and recoup some cash.

Of course idea what the reserve is, probably $75k since it has an upgraded engine 😇

It also says "reserve not met". I guarantee the reserve is north of $50K.

That vin tag doesn't look right? Never witnessed one with that font spacing or the manner in which it's riveted to the tabs.

That's not that uncommon. The VIN tags were supplied by the vendor in pre-stamped sequence except for characters 2 through 5, which were stamped at the factory when the VIN was assigned to a body. This is documented in the PIM.

There's a reason why I dropped all my Hemmings subscriptions years (heck decades) ago.

That is two things I've learned this week. I guess I have not ever encountered a Framingham Olds A body in the wild, That tag doesn't look properly affixed and the rivets don't look right as compared to the other plants.

Rivet direction was optional. Without looking at the underside for the special rivets, you can't tell if it's been tampered with.

Good to know Joe. Obviously, the first time I've seen this style of VIN,
I have witnessed very few N-code Burgundy Poly cars in the wild.

Ironically, my very first 442 was a Burgundy Poly 1968 that I got in 1974. It was an Oshawa car, bought in MA.

It’s interesting that the fender numerals are in the correct location for the W36 stripe.

Ironically, it seems like the only 68s I ever see without stripes have the numbers in the stripe location. Saw a similar one at Hershey a while ago.

Joe. Does your 68 W-30 have the W-36? Would love to see the correct number, and stripe location on your original, or restored car. Love to see some of your rare Oldsmobiles.

Looks like he wants 39k for it. Great looking car. That color looks great on Any A Body Oldsmobile.
