RPO Codes for 1984 H/O

I have figured out all the codes on the inside of the trunk lid except for these below:

D3D OR D30 SPEEDOMETER DRIVEN GEAR?
E7K
LFB
WL7
W84
6FA ASH TRAY?
7DZ SUSPENSION?
779 INTERIOR TRIM?
8PZ REAR BUMPER SPECIAL PAINT?
9PZ FRONT BUMPER SPECIAL PAINT?

Can anyone help figure them out?

Thanks,

Dan

Thanks guys. I started at www.rpocodes.com before my post.

I have both U75 POWER FRONT FENDER ANTENNA and V73 FIXED ANTENNA on the sticker and you are saying that WL7 includes U75. Maybe one of the previous owners changed to a fixed antenna because that is what is on the car now or maybe the V73 is a delete for the U75. The sticker also says UL1 RADIO, ETR, AM/FM STEREO WITH DIGITAL DISPLAY AND CLOCK but, I do have the UM6 AM/FM STEREO, SEEK/SCAN, AUTO REV CASS RADIO.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

From my 87 442 book"Radio, delete-fixed mast antenna will be included unless U75 is ordered" rather confusing statement considering it's included in the WL7 pkg, and then to add to the confusion why would you order a power antenna with no radio? If you had the radio delete why not just put a chrome push in cap in the fender hole?

D3D OR D30 SPEEDOMETER DRIVEN GEAR? - yes
E7K - ???
LFB - ???
WL7 - Popular option package discount credit (dealer has to order WL7). RPOs should be included for all the stuff you ge the credit for. There's been cars that should have came with WL7 options, but no WL7 because the dealer didn't include it.
W84 - Additional fuel for delivery. Speculation was because it needed to go to the upfitter (C&C) for conversion.
6FA ASH TRAY? - Spring code for Front (can't remember I think it's front right)
6/7 followed by 2 letters are front spring codes, 8/9 followed by 2 letters are rear
7DZ SUSPENSION - Spring code for Front (can't remember I think it's front left)
779 INTERIOR TRIM? - That would be dark maple, yes 77C would be the cloth, 779 is the plastic bits IIRC.
8PZ REAR BUMPER SPECIAL PAINT? - Spring code for rear spring (right?)
9PZ FRONT BUMPER SPECIAL PAINT? - Spring code for rear spring (left?)

Not exactly. WL7 is the popular option code RPO that essentially adds the discount because you had specific options already that allows the dealer to apply the WL7 for credit in the RPO system. WL7 did not include any physical equipment by itself.

If you ordered power windows, door locks, tilt wheel and cruise (I think these were generally the ones). Each one of these RPOs are charged out separately on the window sticker. But since you got them all to meet the threshold, the dealer can order WL7 on the option sheet to get the credit. As stated, I've seen cars that have had all the popular options, but the dealer didn't add the WL7, so no credit was given. That's how I understood the bulletin to mean.

It's interesting because dealer bulletins were the way dealers were notified. I don't think it showed up in the actual dealer ordering guide until at least 1986. I think it was included by 1987.

From an 87 442 you can see that they charged for the WL7 pkg and the others that were included!

It was a credit. Not a charge. The 1987 window sticker says the price for WL7 Popular Option Package is "CR -475.00" which tells me it's a credit. If you add up all the numbers, if they charged for it it should come out to 475 more. In 1984 and 85, I think you only saved 200.00.
