in a previous life I was involved in offshore boat racing. this week at the championships in Key West on during the wendsday race Big Thunder Marine blew over killing the driver and throttleman, Bob Morgan and Jeff Tillman of Missouri. today another friend Joey Gratton died from injuries after the boat he was running with Steve Page rolled twice in a turn. Steve is bruised but seems to be OK. spent many years racing against these great men in different classes all over the country. they were all some of the greatest guys I have had the pleasure to hang out with and compete against and they will be missed. times like these I remember why I got out of racing.

My brother was there at witnessed the accident. If the MAN pulls your ticket, that is when you go. At least they were doing something they loved, and many of us won't be fortunate enough to leave this world the same way. My thoughts and prayers will be with the families involved.
