Rocker panel trim

I have a 67 base cutlass that is triple black. The wheel well trim extends all the way down to the bottom of the rocker panels and I am thinking about putting rocker trim on the rocker from wheel well to wheel well. Was this an option on a basic cutlass?? I have seen it on a 442 but not the base models. I found new trim pieces online for a 67' chevelle ss (chrome w/ black inlays) that would look great, actually fit even though not originally correct. Any comments?

Thanks

Tom

The base Cutlass had thinner and higher placed side chrome. The Supreme had the wider lower chrome but it did not go on the rocker at all but on the doors and quarters and fenders. My opinion is do not molest a stock car but you may do as you wish.

I hear you....problem is my neighbor is working on a 67' chevelle and he ordered the rocker moldings for his car ...we held them up to my car and it just popped like crazy. I had my widows tinted pretty dark to really give it the black/black/ black look which makes the existing chrome pop even more. I will try to post a picture in a day or two to show you what I am working with. I like keeping things stock as a rule but I am leaning towards adding the trim because it looks so good. Thanks!

I like the C/S trim. It blends with the wheel well trim nicely.
