Rocker moldings & Stripes on 1972 442

A friendly reminder to remove the Rocker Moldings if you want the W29 442 appearance look.

Along with the wing on a convertible (or on any 1972 for that matter). Also the "resale red" paint. Good luck finding a car today that doesn't look like this, unfortunately.

I don't mind the wing but the stupid stripes and 4 wheel drive kit can't be unseen.

The "wing police" car is right behind that stripes police. There's a reason why Olds never put the wing on a convertible or notchback Supreme.

But some of us did and actually like it. Of course, I'm sure I'll get scolded for the '70 only sport mirrors and the '69 H/O sticker too.

I am really impressed by the skill it took to mask off the stripes around the 442 numerals
