I have heard that they are pretty good site to order from but I have not done so yet. Actually looking to place an order for some parts for a Rainier, so I am interested in hearing peoples responses as well.

Well I noticed the prices are pretty good if you ask me. Sherman floor panels $15 less each than the official site; I've been just browsing the site over the past month now and the prices seemed to have dropped within that time. There's a local shop that charges about $50 more for everything compared to them, not sure if that's the same case around everyone else though.

I ordered from Rockauto for the first time last week. They shipped the same day, and got my valvecover bolts 2 days later. Even sent me a cool fridge magnet with my order. Bottom line, use them!

I have used them several times. There is codes out there that will give you 5% off your total order.
Here the code i got its good until july 4th 32128512645775
You enter in spot How you hear about us.

Only thing I would recommend is trying to order parts that come from same warehouse.

I have ordered from them 2 or 3 times because several reputable people on this site have recommended them. Their prices are great, they have several different brands of most items and they ship very quickly. From my experience, I recommend them and will continue to buy from them.

Recommended all the way!!

I have placed about 20 orders with them. They have GREAT prices, excellent brands, fast accurate shipping, no hassle easy return policy, and more parts you could ever imagine. Sometimes you will get some nice surprises, like the "standard motor products" brand EGR valve (on clearance) for my old Ford was actually a NOS Ford part!

These guys WILL call you if the item you want is out of stock. They credit a return as soon as they get it. So far my two returns were due to my own blunders.

Their only downside is that they ship from many warehouses, so watch where they are shipping from when you add to cart. I typically add all the parts I can if they come from the same place. But then again, the cost savings on parts can easily make up for the added shipping. Nice thing is that the cart shows the exact shipping amount as you add stuff.

Give them a try - you will not regret it!

And BTW, I have about 6 of the fridge magnets - they seem to only come with orders over 100 bucks or so...

I've used them several times. They have an awesome look up site. You can find your part quickly or, they don't have it. No time wasted searching thier site.

I ordered all the parts for my front end rebuild from them last year. I can only echo what's been said about them so far. Great prices, quality parts available, and shipped fast!

If you have a part number, you can often find the part that way even if not by application. I've used them a lot.

My dad works for Advanced Auto and most of the time after his discount + taxes it's a push with RockAuto+shipping costs.

So what I have been doing is buying from Advanced when it is IN STOCK, but if my old man has to order it anyway, I'll go through RockAuto.

In short, use them. No problems for me. Shipping is fast, prices are good.

I have used them a couple of times, been good. Bought Dynomax mufflers for $26.00 apiece, on sale! Even w/shipping costs, still cheaper than anyone.

I use RockAuto constantly. On the rare occasions that I've had a problem, they have resolved it very quickly and satisfactorily. I caution that you need to watch the shipping costs, however. Large or heavy items can quickly become more costly than local purchase. On the other hand, I just recently found out that Advance Auto will price match RockAuto. Populate a shopping cart at RockAuto, print it, and take it to Advance. They matched prices and it saved me $60 in shipping costs on some Walker exhaust pipes and mufflers.

Another nice thing about RockAuto is the ability to search by part number. For example, I was looking for the stainless band clamps for exhaust pipes. Found them at Summit, searched the P/N at RockAuto, and saved about $15 over Summit.

Yeah, they're pretty cool. Prices are low. Shipping was cheap for a big item, expensive for a small item but was FAST.

I got a new copper and brass radiator for my Ford from RA for 145 + 18 S&H.
None were available from the local parts places and the only radiator shop in town quoted me 500 for new, 400 to recore my old one!

I have got parts from them for years and yes you have to be wary of shipping cost. If the item you order is out of stock they will call you no boxes with back order slips. Have always been very satisfied with there service and they carry name brand parts like Moog and kyb recently purchased new front springs and kyb shocks at a huge savings.

I haven't used them yet, but they sent me about 200 magnets for our car show, paid a bit of my bill for plaques fro Rallye and sent a $25 certificate for a door prize for the show in July.

You can't rely on their car / make / model search for parts.
You have to know the EXACT part # you're searching for.

I say this because I've ordered 10x from them, and my only complaint is that their parts search for specific models isn't always accurate. So when you get the parts they said were the right ones, and you have to ship them back, it kinda negates the savings you'd have.

Make sure you know the EXACT part #'s you need before ordering. Touch them in hand to be sure they work. Sucks when you have to mail things back.
