Well the Revell Model is finally here for the 1983 Hurst Olds , took basically 6 years , 2 of constant calling , and then 4 years from the time they came out took all the test shots and measurements .
It's nicely detailed , I was sent pictures of a completed model and it looks very nice , they even include decals in the kit of my Illinois Licence plate for the model , which is just too cool.
They are out now at hobby shops , here are some pictures for you
I haven't personally looked but have read online where these are going for up to $300 on ebay.
I'm guessing the price is high now because they are new and haven't been distributed in mass volume yet. As more hit the market the price will drop to retail.
I'm still waiting for the 1/8 scale Monogram model cars to come back. They used to release a new one every year since 1965 and I made sure to get them all before they vanished in the eighty's.. I even managed to grab a few Pochers before they disappeared also. I had cases hand made for all of them after they started to accumulate dust and had to be carefully cleaned. I can only dream of a 1/8 scale 442 in Flame Orange!
