Who needs a kit? Just go to a junkyard, get a few 442 badges (or order them from Fusick), and stick them on your car. Presto! A 442!

I'm thinking of sticking a few on the side and rear of my Honda Civic.

Oldsmobile rights

Anyone wanting to resurrect Oldsmobile would now have to purchase the rights from Nissan...yes, Nissan. Idk what they plan on doing with them, but they now own them. I realize I'm late to this party, but I couldn't help dropping that knowledge and please forgive me if that has already been addressed in this thread.

Do you have a link? There was a rumor going around that at one time it was Toyota that bought the rights to the Oldsmobile name.

I don't have a link, but I do remember hearing of it from a news source and I about cried, lol. I took some solace in the fact by telling myself that I was "kinda" working on an Oldsmobile when I was helping my kid with his Altima. It's one of those things that seems so crazy, it's gotta be true. I'll post my source when I remember exactly what it was...it took me a while to not feel sick about it, so I tried to disremember hearing of it at the time. If anyone can tell me "it ain't so", please do so, cause I'm still not over it. Happy Motorin', Duncan.

No.
GM owns all rights to "Oldsmobile".

Good to know...I like jokes to be funny, and that one certainly wasn't. Thanks.

So, the spoiler is to tie luggage onto 'cause trunk space looks pretty slim? I guess I can live without "new" Oldsmobiles.
