Reproduction wiring

Who makes the best and most accurate wiring harness for a 70 442? I know there are a few out there but accuracy, customer service and pricing are all important factors. American auto wire, M&H are just a couple.

I can't say if they are the best, but I used M&H for a 1971 for everything, and it way plug and play with no issues. I did around 15 years ago or so and still going strong and looks good.

Ive bought, from Autowire and Lectric Limited, with good results. Sometimes you have to use multiple sources to get all the harnesses you need.

I used M&H for engine and forward harness--perfect in every way. AND everything associated with the two harnesses worked when I started the engine--no rework involved. Believe me, price is unimportant--quality is paramount when it comes to wiring.

Warning--there was a wait time for the forward harness last year when I purchased.

P.S. Install a quick disconnect at the battery; it is an automobile saver.

I recently used American Autowire on my 69 for forward harness, engine, dash, rear lights and everything was good quality and fit. I'm happy with what I got, I would buy from them again if I needed harnesses.

I've also used American Autowire on several restorations and wiring replacements. They are top of the line for quality and etc. in my book.

I have used both American wiring and M&H. They are both excellent quality. You can get American wiring from Fusick. FYI, some of the connectors and colors are not exact. Some wire lengths are slightly different, but work and function.

I used M&H for my forward light and engine harness. I had it built with the correct wiring for HEI and internally regulated alternator. Besides the changes everything thing else was an exact match in color length and connectors. I used American auto for battery cables and the were great quality also.

I have used both M&H and American Auto Wire. Had great results with both of them.
