repop dash

Has anyone purchased a repop dash bezel for a '67 442 from Oldsparts.com? I'm considering one but curious about quality.

I wouldn't. Buy one from Ron or Larry on here. Restored original.

Got mine from The Parts Place, did not install yet so don't know about the fit but what I see I like a lot. Major improvement it will be in my 67. And I probably saved 1000 dollars...

The problem I see with a restored piece is you still have a 55yr. old piece of brittle sun baked plastic that's been glued and filled, stripped and chromed for $1500.

Man, $550 for a repop is a steal! I would rather cut that up for gauges than an original.
One of my pipedreams was to pull a mold off a good spare I have, and make a carbon fiber blank with speaker grill delete. The materials were over $300 10 years ago, so this is a no-brainer. Not as cool as cf, but saves a ton of work.
