Rebuilt power window switches

Hi All,
Does anyone know someone who rebuilds power window switches or sells refurbished ones? I have a 1968 Olds 98 convertible. Its power window switches are unreliable. They seem to be sealed units and not easy to repair yourself.
Thanks.
Ian

Sometimes a good shot of WD40 will clean up the contacts.

They are a pain. Both the internal contacts and the pin plugs on the wiring are troublesome when they wear. They can be disassembled by prying the metal part away from the base. Some contacts are available. I believe whole master switches are available for some cars, but could not find master switches with a 2 by 2 arrangement, only ones with 4 verticle in-line switches.
I totally redid mine by making a new mount, using Eclin momentary on-off-on toggle switches, soldering the wires on. But this was a pain and makes removal of the door panel tricky. This was after trying to deal with the original set up. It did eliminate problems.
Doing a search here will result in seeing how others have dealt with this trouble.
