Ok so I am researching clutches and pressure plates etc, and I ask for advice from the more knowedgeable, and folks who have bought one recently... I get advice and opinions, and without a doubt centerforce, hayes and mcleod are the top choices.

So now I am looking at which type of Centerforce clutch and pressure plate to use, and low and behold I start seeing all these little blips on LOTS of car forums saying that Most Clutches and pressure plates are actually made by Valeo or LUK, even the vaunted centerforce? there is some question as to modifications someone mentioned weights being added to the centerforce but really? they even posted a picture of the lable removed and the pressure plate was stamped valeo? geez louise..... just saying...

I mean the savings are significant, anywhere from 33 to 60% I guess I am upset that all of us kind of get dupped into buying the best parts for our cherished cars, and low and behold the no name brand is just as good.

I mean I bought goodmark or year one parts thinking they are gm restoration parts etc etc etc and later find out they are the same taiwan made parts everyone else is selling, is it me? should I just shut up??? I dunno kind of steams my onions LOL...
