Pretty sure I know the answer is get a new top. But right now can't afford due to getting my quarter panels fixed. I didn't know if any new adhesives had come out in the last couple of years.

Here is a picture of the problem. The top only goes up if I get caught in the rain. I will get a new top when it gets painted in the future.

It is a long the bottom

Remove as much of the old sealant as possible. It is best to retain a slight roughness for better adhesion. Beginning in the CENTER apply a 1/8" to 1/4" bead to the surface. Using MANY pieces of tape, tape the fabric along its entire border pulling upwards & fastening the vinyl to the glass along its entire border.

Both of the below products have stood the test of time. Either the fast cure (48 hrs) or normal cure:

3M Marine Adhesive Sealant Fast Cure 5200 (05220) Permanent Bonding and Sealing for Boats and RVs Above and Below the Waterline Waterproof Repair, White, 3 fl oz Tube 3M Marine Adhesive Sealant Fast Cure 5200 (05220) Permanent Bonding and Sealing for Boats and RVs Above and Below the Waterline Waterproof Repair, White, 3 fl oz Tube
