RIP, owner and driver of the Blue Max TF Funny Car, a true Texas drag racing legend..

 

I met Raymond one time when the Blue Max speed shop was open in north Dallas. Both, he and Kenny Bernstein were in the store. Both super nice guys. One of the guys that painted and lettered the Blue Max was a good friend of mine.

 

I remember watching him race the Blue Max Funny car in the late 70's. He was one of the featured racers.

 

one of my favorite funnycar drivers. used to watch him here in mi at tri city dragway. r.i.p
