Mine was a 1964 ford galaxie 500 fastback robin egg blue or turquoise for those who want a precise factory color Black interior. 4 speed bench and 390 thunderbird motor from the factory with traction bars. This one got away. Not so rare I am the owner of four oldsmobile one 1970 442 street /race car and one 442 tube chassis race car and a 1967 442 post and a 1967 cutlass supreme race car. Still driving: 2006 Volvo V70R, Sonic Blue (one of 50)

North American V70R Production Numbers
Total MY2006 production: 823
Total with Manual Transmission: 300
Total Sonic Blue: 186
Total Sonic Blue with MT: 50

My high school street racer: an Ember Red '64 Chevy Impala 409/400 hp with a Muncie 4-gear and a 3.73 Posi. That thing was SUDDEN. Felt like it was going to pull the front wheels every time you got on it. Its life ended one afternoon when it was T-boned by a fat rich alcoholic lady who ran a red light.
I had a 1 of 20 1999 Pontiac Firebird 1LE from 2000 to 2008. Had to get a POS Jaguar....
My dad bought a new 77 Trans Am. It was a special order car that someone else had backed out on. Had the T/A 400 motor, 4 spd., no t tops, no bird, but with PW, PDL, factory cassette/CB radio, but most unusual was the color - white with white interior. I have been been looking for a while and never seen another one like it.

The dumbest thing i ever did was!!! I bought a 1969 firebird from a guy had a 400 engine in it. The tranny was slipping and this guy was broke laid off.He needed rent money this was close to 1981 time frame. I told the guy i had $150 he said he needed three!! I said take it or leave it! He took it the wife came unglued said i got took! Two weeks later i seen a guy going down the street in a 1969 firebird told the wife i was going to make a profit on that firebird today and was going to shove the money in her rear!!Guy went to quick trip a block away so i drove down there and ask him hey how much did you pay for those miss match fenders he said 325!I ask him how would he like to buy a whole car for $300. he said he was broke but wanted to see the car. He looked at it and said man i want that car! I told him well come up with the cash in 30 minutes or i am going to keep it. He left burning rubber for half a block. Came back with his dad and his dad ask me dude you really selling this car for $300 i said yep but not going to in another five minutes. The guy handed me $300. ask for title and when i did he laughed and tears were rolling as he drove that 69 away. Be young and Dumb i found out 5 years later it was a trans am.
Sorry for the windy story.

This was not rare but to me a big moment in the life of a 14 year old. My teacher was Mr. Clemens and the school was in kincaid kansas. My first cutlass was a new drivers ed car 1970. It was a gold with beige looking seat and plastic bubble wrap looking seat covers and of course a 4 door. Nothing like having three good looking girls in the back as you are cruising on the highway.
I started to learn to drive at twelve in a 57 1/2 ton ford pu three on the tree.

Lucerne Blue , Blue std interior , 70-1/2 Trans Am RA III 400 M21 4 speed 3.55 Safe T Track 12 bolt no console , heater only , wrong engine and front clip , found a rebuilt 70 GTO WT block for it almost correct but not quite and a set of correct #12 heads , intake etc , original tranny , rearend and seats etc.. Got it running with a TA front clip stuff back on it, needed all interior redone and alot of metal and body work to restore. It was a daily driver for years and street racer ran mid 13's (best 13.3@102) on 93 octane with stock stuff. Sold it when I switched to a 68 Firebird Vert project. should have kept this TA oh well.. paid 800 in 1991 ish sold for 3300 in 1995 couldnt afford restoration then probably still couldnt now..lol

We were conned into believing that the world was over & these cars weren't worth scrap. I have a pair of Hurst original wheels, circa 1965 with a MOPAR bolt pattern, that have followed me around since 1965!! Guess I'll have to put them up for sale so I can retire!!!

My 1970 Olds 442 W-30, all original, metallic burgundy, real W-27, F casting heads, the real deal. I traded a 1960 El Camino and took over payments. Cruised Central Avenue in Phoenix AZ for a few years. Married and the now ex sold it while I was in Korea. Looked for it for many years, last seen in Clovis, NM.
1968 Malibu L-79 4-speed... 327/325 hp... Chevy made a little over 2,000 of them. It was my 1st new car. My then girlfriend convinced me I should sell the car and go away to school. So I did, went to Kent State, met my future wife, flunked out and went to work.
47 years and 250 cars later, still miss the car, but still have the wife. All in all, a pretty good outcome!

Don't even hardly know where to start
69 AMX 390 4 speed
70 Javelin 390 auto - one of my truly favorite cars
71 Hornet SC 360 4 speed - something like 700 built
70 442 W30 Platinum/black bench seat 4 speed Purchased in 1972 and sold it in 2012. If forced to pick one - this would be it.
70 442 W30 Agean Aqua/white every option available
70 442 W30 auto, Galleon Gold/black traded a 70 Toro GT to get it. Toro wound up in Norway, W30 wound up stolen never to be seen again
70 W31 Rallye Red/Black 4 speed
70 GTO Judge auto. Rescued from a salvage yard in Las Cruces NM. One of the weirdest color combos on one I have ever seen. A color similar to Galleon Gold with kind of a cream colored vinyl top, matching interior and green side stripes
