Random Thoughts
Just spent 4 hours in the garage.
Zac Brown Band on the stereo - couple (okay-a few...) glasses of the Dalmore 12 year - Noreaster brewing outside...and it hits me - finding parts for stuff from the 50's is a bitch....yet I love these cars - probably spent an hour just looking at them
Hope you all had a good night.

Thats the fun stuff about it, the challenge to restore something to beauty is a great feeling. At least in another 25 years people will say, oh so thats what a real car is. Wished we could of drove one.

Sounds like what I was doing 2 years ago while redoing my 72's interior.
There was a lot of time spent in the war-room making plans while guzzling good brews and listening to classic rock!
Good memories for sure - that was part of the fun.

Struck a nerve with me! All the time spent in the detached 2 car garage redoing the Silver Bullet, I kept 2 fingers of Rebel Yell fairly close by. I keep a PA system (used for our Hood'Fest parties, once a year, in the driveway, live band, etc.; only place to store it) stored in one side of the 2 car. A CD player on top, through the brain/amp, and boy, do I have music to listen to while working on the car! Sure be glad when warmer (not HOT) weather returns.
