Repro quarters were tack welded on in about 18 places along the quarter, inner wheel well & body areas.
Local guy wants them, so off they came this morning. Kind of hated to kill it even more, but might be the best fate for this one. The quater windows still roll up & down!!
All the repro trunk pieces were just lying in the trunk, not secured in any way. Getting those out was easy.

how were the quarters welded to the rocker panels? I'm going to be welding in some reproduction quarter panels in the next month, and i noticed there's a seam just abobe the rocker panel? I'm kinda confused... (I'm talking about the area just in back of the driver side door and in front of the wheel.

They were not really welded to the rockers, just a couple spot welds to hold them in place. I think the factory quarters have a horizontal section at the bottom that welds to the rocker.
I didn't pay that much attention when taking them off, sorry.
