Radio Aftermarket Question

I have a 1971 442 Convertible does anyone have experience with after market radio stereos that will take an ipod connection. i believe I have 2 speakers in the rear (not sure of the size) and one in the dash. Not interested in cutting any holes.
What would anyone recommend?
Has anyone installed the USA from custom auto sound or is there a better product out there.

Thanks

I'm not sure who made it but the repo radio I bought from year one that says Oldsmobile on the dial where the cassett slides in is a POS.

Seem like a good many people are putting them under the seat or in the dash w/ a remote control and just leaving the origional as is.

Are you running 3 or 4 speakers?

I have said it before and will say it again this Olds site is amazing.

If you can't hear your engine your system has too many watts.
The audiosonic engine monitor gauges on the sides of your head become useless. When you turn down the tunes and hear what sounds like a Neil Young electric guitar solo coming from the engine it's a real bummer.

Thanks for the input guys and you are so right Bluevista. The stereo is so maybe the wife will come with me the odd time. I think if it was up to me I would be happy just listening to the engine LOL.

I am going with Tayman Electric, (they will rebuild my old), new front speaker and kick panels.
Thanks for all the comments and suggestions.

If you want to keep it as original as possible, then I think that Redirad has an adapter that connects between the antenna and the headunit that allows you to plug in your Ipod. If you have a stereo receiver, it will play in stereo. If not, they sell a unit that will play back in mono. www.rediscoverradio.com
