Radiator tags

Radiator tags

Anyone here knowledgeable about radiator tags? Trying to figure out what radiator or radiator tag should be in my '71W30. My 70 olds has a tag. My 71 does no

t

There is a table in the assembly manual that has the radiator information you are wanting. Let me know if you do not have a manual and I will post. Good luck.

That's good info Vintage Chief posted, unfortunately its missing a key Rad Tag Code.
The "EF" rad code tag is a secondary tag used when the primary "EB" rad code is not available.
The EF is a 4 core tank on the passenger side and a 3 core tank on the drivers, which makes it a 3 core.
The EB is a true 4 core.
If your car has 3:73 gears or AC the EB is the rad tag code you need.
The EF is the secondary option but is also correct.
Both are Extremely difficult to find.
