Quick Pics of My 67 Delta Custom

Hi Olds Fans: I just had to post some pics of my car and some trashy stuff that I put on it. I believe that all the stuff I put on it is period correct.

Just for Fun!

Trashy Stuff On My Car!

Here's how the some of the stuff looks on my 67 Delta Custom, plus a couple of other pics...

Jaybird

P.S. I'm still waiting for my spare 425 Super Rocket to be done. The machining is finished. It just has to be rebuilt and painted now!

Should I paint the engine block red?... Or should I just leave everything the way it is... (as it is in, this engine picture?)

Also... Is it just me... or should the Hola Girl's skirt be a little shorter?

I'm afraid I might like to hear Cutlassgal's opinion! Hmmm oh no!!! What did I just say?

A hula dancer is period correct? A hula dancer is probably correct in any period. But only if you live in Hawaii!

Also, I always thought that fuzzy dice were most correct for the 1950s.

The tic toc tach was an option in '67. I saw one on Evilbay last year and just had to get one and install it in my car. The clock part didn't work, so I took it to Bob's Speedometer in Howell, MI. They replaced the clock with a quartz unit and recalibrated my tach.
This tach and a number of other improvements, have pushed the cost of my inexpensive ($2,500) ride into the twilight zone. I'll never get my money out of it, but that's not really the point of owning an old car. Is it?
I'm still havin' fun!

Hey jaunty75... I thought fuzzy dice were popular in the 50's and 60's.

I also still need to get a peace sign and stick it on the back window.
That will just about do it. I promise that I will not add any monkey ***** around the headliner, but I am tempted to get a bobblehead puppy dog with brake light eyes.

I'm sure they were. They're popular now. What I was thinking is when did they FIRST become a popular thing to hang from the rearview mirror.

Nice! I love the tic toc tach also and the floor shift. I'll assume bucket seats?

w-30dreamin: It has Strato Bucket seats, just like the ones you could get for a 67 Cutlass. I believe the seats were part of the Delta Custom package. The interior looks just like the one in the 1967 sales brochure. I don't currently have a good picture of the interior. Here's a picture of the car from January 2010, just after getting the car from the second owner. I took out the trash, replaced the damaged console and installed an am/fm radio stereo (from my parts car). The interior was pretty good shape after that. The second owner had previously replaced the carpet.
