PS - Castro's '40 Buick
Pawn Stars TV show S9/Ep28, Castro's Buick
Pretty 1940 Buick Eight
Half finished
Seller wants $35k, calls it an OG car
Claims it was Fidel Castro's car while he was in Mexico
They call in "a buddy to look it over" of course
He spots the 1970's PRNDL shifter on the floor.
They open the hood- I was excpecting a SlowBoat(to)China motor, but there was a red OLDS V8!!! They didn't say much about it except that it was not the original Buick Eight. I saw a blocked EGR and a G-body era LH mount for the alternator, and cheesy chrome valve covers. Chevy type carb with side inlet. Couldn't tell much else.
