Production numbers and survivors
I expect this has been asked, but I didn’t find what I was looking for when I searched.
is there a web site for how many cars were made by year, and style. Also how many are still around?

The AACA estimates that after 25 years less than one percent of a typical auto's production will still be surviving . The rest being scrapped .
" Typical " would not include cars such as Corvettes , some of which have a survival rate as high as 50 percent .
Popularity of a model will have a great effect on survival . in 1957 Ford made a few thousand more cars than Chevy .
But you'd never know that by the number of '57 Chevy's you see today compared to '57 Fords .
