New member with first Olds in my collection. Anyone know how many '57 Starfire 98 convertibles were produced with J-2 Option? Thanks.

Thanks. Now the question is an estimate of how many are left. The former owner of my car had a study paper from an outfit in California called "How Many Are Left?" For a fee, they research the VIN numbers of matching cars currently licensed in the Continental 48 states. This study says they found a total of 47 cars with 4 from Utah, where my Olds came from.

They are all stuffed away in barns, sheds, silos, and basements. Registered ones are probably harder to come by than the hidden ones.
