Preparing to start the 75 Olds

- which I do not want to do until I get some good advice. This is the same car that is in this thread here https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...s-supreme.html and has not run for a decade since it was turned off after a 10 minute run. The gas has completely evaporated- I mention this because the tank is empty, but I know I did not run it out of fuel. So what is the gentlest way I should re-introduce fuel back into it and try to start it? I don't want to just clumsily blunder around assuming all is well. Btw, it has been garage kept this whole time- not that I think it's a magic pill that should grant immediate ressurection.

If it were me, I would disconect the fuel line at the carb. Put a couple of gallons in the tank and use the starter motor to pump some of the fuel in a container.

See what ya got.

Get a couple of new fuel filters and give it a go from there.

Oh...I would have a fire extinguisher near by and some one to use it.
