Power Window Interchange?

Are the back power window parts on a 70 Supreme the same as the hardtop?

I would say some are and some aren't. The obvious items such as the glass itself and probably the channels would not interchange, but the regulator, rollers, and some others might. Gee, Eric, I thought you would be the "Go-To" guy for this one! Your knowledge is light years ahead of most! I'm sure Scott will chime in and Joe P. will eventually tell us. Do you have a Hollander?

Yes the the rear regulator is the same across the board for all 68-72 Abody 2 dr cars.

As to the rest of the hardware????????????

By the way for some reason Hollander does not list rear quarter regulator interchanges. Only front and rear door regulators.

I have front and rear power windows from 72 Monte Carlo in my 70 Cutlass convertible. I used everything except the glass.

I have been looking at the parts book and now even more confused. I can't remember where to find want all the numbers mean in the parts book to tell what each car is. There is 3567, 3577, 3677, 6687, 4487, and on and on. what are the numbers for a 70 Cutlass convertible, hardtop, and Supreme?

I believe that post cars use different regulators than hardtop cars front & rear.

Don't quite follow you but what I'm saying is that 2 door post sedans use different regulators than 2 door hardtop cars use or maybe I'm wrong,am I?

To further clarify, all 1968 to 1972 gm A body 2 door hardtop and convertible rear window regulators interchange whether they are power or manual. 4 door and post rear regulators are different. Front door regulators are the same on 1970 to 1970 2 door hardtop and convertible A bodies. So yes, the power window set up out of that SX will work on your W30 if that is what you are wondering.

I am not adding them to my W-30. I have another guy wanting me to install them in a car he wants to buy.

Thanks,
