Power Tour 2026

Just bought my Gold ticket for this tears tour. This will be my 4th time touring. In the past have waited too long to stay at the recommended hotels. For those that have stayed at the recomended hotels, do you recomend doing so?

I always tried to stay at the host hotel because I figured it would be a nicer hotel full of other Power Tour folks with a lot of nice cars. The parking lots were always like a mini car show every night with people tailgating.

Apparently Gold sold out in 15 minutes. I tried to get mine an hour after they went on sale and Gold was gone. Settled for Long Hauler for now. I figure there will be Gold tickets available in May, as usual. I wonder if scalpers got them all this year.

No, I just book my own. I'm very deep in Marriott, so I use points when I can.

I am deep in Hilton and did the same with my old man in 2018.

Power Tour books some crap hotels. We did Gold and a handicap placard for his back.

Thanks again, Jim. This, of course, means that I'll have a Long Hauler ticket for sale, and yes they have been sold out for a while.

That's the plan today.
Of course, it always comes down to what's running at the time.

I live in NW Indiana. The second day is from Joilet, Illannoy to Rantoul, illannoy. I plan on making that leg. Then drive home for the night. Should be fun. Rolling a C5. Pewter and black.
