Power flow ventilation

Hey guys. I have a power flow ventilation setup but don't know a ton about them, other than they were an option for NON Ac cars. But does anyone know when they first came out? I want to say 67 or 68 (the switch looks like a 68 GTO or Olds rear speaker switch, but says low, off, hi on it). But I haven't seen enough of these around to really see how they would have mounted , how well they really worked, or anything. I bought them for my 68 GTO or was going to use them in my 68 442. But they are just sitting on my shelf with the rest of my stuff lol.

Any info would be great!

69 is the first year I know for sure and even then I think only on Olds and Buick non-A/C cars. The Fisher Body manual covers them. I think they coincided with the 1969 vent window elimination on hardtops.

Ah then that does make sense. I must have a 69 olds or poncho set since the switch looks like a 68 olds or gto style switch.

For Olds A-body, it was 69 only. I've got it in mine. I've only seen one other many years ago in a 442. I did see a Buick setup for sale back in the '80s. Agreed it was to make up for the lack of vent windows. The switch for an Olds matched the style of the power antenna, power top, rear-defog switches. As mentioned, it is in the Fisher body manual.

FYI, for Olds it was called Forced Air Body Ventilation, option C57.

I haven't decided if i want to sell mine yet or not. It is complete though, both motors and the switch, unless there are other parts. I was lucky enough to snag these lol. Thanks for the info.
