I wanted to post these photos of my collection of local dealership items collection. I only collect Cleveland Ohio area specific items and am always looking for more. I would like to see if anyone else collects similar items and feel free to show them. The first photograph is of my local license plate frames and some key chains from A.D. Pelunis, Jim Hern, LaTour, Reliable, Earl And CY Mack Oldsmobile. Also a Dowd Oldsmobile ruler. A few other non dealership specific items are on the wall as well. The second photograph shows various matchbooks, postcards and keychains. Also a Michaels Oldsmobile yardstick. The next shows a service department workshirt from Reliable Oldsmobile. The next photo shows 2 New for 59 banners, while not Cleveland specific I still thought Id show them( I saw that someone had already started a thread for banners and signs, but i figured I'd show them here anyway.) Last is my overflow stuff that I haven't got into a case yet. An Earl Oldsmobile ashtray and various matchbooks and a Hydramatic brochure from Reliable Oldsmobile. Reliable and Earl are where my cars were bought new and are also where my father and I would look at new Oldsmobiles each year. Im lucky to have a Car from each of them. Not sure why photos 1 and 4 are sideways. They are not that way on my computer/camera. Sorry

Mike, thanks for posting your collection. Native Clevelander and do remember Earl Olds, Reliable Olds but especially A D Pelunis in Lakewood, Ohio. I purchased my original 66 Cutlass at A. D. Pelunis and the salesman was Homer Sievers. He helped me check all the right boxes for my 66 Lucerne Mist Cutlass convertible. Light Blue top with matching light blue Strato bucket interior, 330/320 HP, PS, PB/ 4 speed posi with dual exhaust. Still trying to find an A D Pelunis plate from for my current 66. Thanks for the pictures.

Wayne, if I come across another Pelunis Frame, ill let you know. Ive been collecting local stuff for about 6 years and these are the only frames Ive seen that have come up for sale. None of the local license frames are that common since they were made with cheap pot metal and chrome that did poorly with our salted roads. But you already know that. Where was the picture of your 66 taken?
I bought that car right after coming home from being discharged from USAF. That was taken at our family's property on the SE corner of Pleasant Valley and State Roads in Parma. My dads barber shop was on that property until several years ago and our old house is still there in front of "Docs" shake shop. Are you familiar with that area? Let me know if you snag an A D Pelunis plate frame. Are you planning on going to OCA dustoff in Parma Hgts on May 7?
Thanks
Wayne
I actually grew up right at the bottom of state road hill on west 29th, so I am familiar with that area. Im a Parma Sr. High grad. I am planning on attending the dustoff show. I'll have my 59 with me.
Looking forward to the Dustoff. I missed the Dust Off last year because of the rain dates and had to be in SanFrancisco to visit Daughter. I graduated from Parma Sr. High Class of 61. We have lots to talk about.
