I'm looking for a couple of pictures of a 70-72 350ci motor with a stock Q-Jet on it.
I might be going back to a 72 Q-Jet carb, and in turn the manifold too. I'm not sure what pieces I'm going to be missing though. I'll need an air cleaner, the heat tube bracket on the manifold, but I'm not sure what else.
Ever rebuilder I talk to says the Q-Jet is a better carb, performance wise, than an Edelbrock. It'd rather do it right once at this point, and be set forever.
Anyone have an HEI ignition on a 70-72 cutlass and retain the factory intake and carb? Can the air cleaner just be "notched" to fit around it?
