Here's a few photos from last weekend. I've better ones on my 35mm I'll get up later. Really crowded and over 300 cars showed up to race. Maybe coax Oldsguy down here when he gets his done.

 

That first pic brings back some great memories! Black primered 55 Chevy, 2 door post, no front bumper with slapper traction bars. Oh ya can't forget the steel wheels. I actually owned one like that.

Then the ****** gasser next to it. I always wanted one of those but was never in the right place at the right time to buy one.

 

Looks like the drags I used to go to when I was a kid. Run what ya brung. Best racing ever and didn't cost a arm and a leg.

That '55 Chebby reminds me of my old '55... Furd.
Here's a pic from '75, check out my coo-doo 75 dollar '67 Grand Prix 'vert, only year GP ragtop. The Furd was 110 bucks, put a 390 in it and terrorized the side streets.
