hope this will work, still kinda lost here
want to do a traditional build
455 turbo 4 mid 80's gm chassied

how do you identify year and hp and other stuff on a 455, gonna take awhile to get up to speed on a brand change
any good engine info books out there
carb recommendation?? got a few in stock!!
whats a good ignition?
i have been know to tinker on a little tuning
looking to get mileage as this will be a driver[at least some time and i do travel] i have done shows from FL to CA

Carburator use is owner preference, edelbrock, holley, quadrajet, not necessarily in that order! Same with ignitions, points, pertronics, hei, msd, it all depends on what your looking for in your ride.
