passenger side mirror 69 442

Did Oldsmobile make a passenger side door mirror for 1969 442? If so does anyone have 1 for sale ( chrome ) , or where can I purchase a repop?

Fusick part number SM6865L for the drivers and SM6865R for the passenger side. You'll probably need both because your driver's side won't match

If those mirrors mount like my '71 did with the keyhole type holes and notches on the door they only have reinforcements on the driver's side if the car didn't come with dual mirrors and you'll have to reinforce the passenger side door under the mirror.
I cut the keyholed in the door then made a reinforcement piece and epoxied it in and it was strong like bull when it set up.
I made one out of some sheet metal and bent the long edges down for strength then cut out the holes but you can also buy them.

If those mirrors aren't like mine...never mind.

Interesting thing about the right hand side mirror for 1969 - if you look in the options and accessories book (that usually came with the packet that holds the owner's manual, POP, and so forth), you will see a picture of the optional right hand mirror. The picture of the RH optional mirror appears to match the optional left hand remote control mirror. As far as I know, though, Olds never made such a mirror for the RH side. The RH mirror that was available matched the standard LH side mirror (non-remote style).

I've often wondered, if these cars were exported to left-hand drive countries, if there was a RH side remote mirror made and available for those exported cars.
