Parts required and part numbers?

So, I'm not too familiar with 70 and non ac cars but Im looking to put back together a 70 442 4spd that has no water pump, pulleys, fan, shroud, shroud top or radiator. The car does not have AC but I was told HD cooling.
Is a small block with no AC pulleys the same?
Am I looking for a 4 blade fan or 6?
Was a clutch only for AC cars?
I guess Im just looking to find out what parts I need exactly and if they are available or hard to find?
Thx in advance

I'm not an expert but I believe most 4 speed cars WITHOUT heavy duty cooling came with a 4 blade fixed fan, no shroud, & the correct radiator top plate for cars with no shroud.
If the car was a 4 speed & did have heavy duty cooling, then I think you need a 6 blade clutch fan, shroud with associated top plate for a 4 core radiator, little rubber flap seals for the side of the top plate, & a 4 core radiator. I think this application also calls for a specific water pump.
AC cars also got a 6 blade clutch fan, 3 core top plate, shroud,& rubber flap seals but only a 3 core radiator.
One way to tell if your car had a shroud is to see if there are two small +/- 1" tabs at the bottom of the radiator support where the shroud would attach. If those tabs are not there, then I would pretty much say no heavy duty cooling & no shroud. Also if it did come with heavy duty cooling the U shaped saddles at the bottom of the radiator will be a bit wider than for a 2/3 core radiator. Unless the radiator support has been changed in the last 48 years or so....

Thanks Packrat, Would you know if there is anything special about the pulleys?
Would you have any of the parts discussed?

Oh yeah I forgot to add I do have a good shroud, several of the AC & non AC top plates but I don't have one that has the wider saddles for the four core. I have some 4 blade fixed fans and several clutchfans and possibly the rubber flaps but you can buy those new if need be. There are three different water pump lengths as measured from the engine towards the radiator and you have to make sure you have the right water pump and all the right pulleys to make everything line up. All of the pulleys have a two-letter code on them and if you can find out which pulleys you need I can certainly check my inventory. Others on here can probably help with which pump and pulleys you need.

As oldspackrat said, the best way to determine what kind of cooling system you had, is to check for the tabs on the bottom of the rad support.
If they are there your car had a one form of HD cooling.
Another helpful way of determining what you had is the rear end gear ratio.
The parts involved if your rad support has the tabs;
-3 core radiator, Rad tag code "FA". If you had the "V02" option "FE"
-404847 water pump
-Fan shroud
-top plate with openings to bolt the fan shroud to
-clutch fan "OS
-6 blade fan
-"KM" water pump pulley
The main reason for the longer shaft water pump is to have the fan sit in the shroud at the optimal distance to pull air through the radiator.
Hope this helps
