Parts cars or projects?

A friend has these and we're looking for recommendations on what to do with them? Body on the 75 is in pretty decent shape but the floor boards are shot. Tia for any input.

How'd the wheels get buried in gravel? Looks like the floor pans are against the ground, not good. Patina looks authentic.

My gut tells me parts cars.

Been sitting a long time, not sure what happened. What's the best way to sell the parts? Do you think the car it's worth 1k?

Honestly the interior would have to be immaculate in either car to have any value. Those are two run of the mill cars with a very small market to begin with. You might get 500 each if you wait long enough. Parting them will bring more but will also take more time.. I'm not trying to be mean, but it's not worth the effort in my mind. Send them to the scrapyard.

Well the Olds prolly has a 350 and turbo 350, the Buick a 231 or maybe 350 Buick or maybe even 305 Chebby??.... Both have RWD 3rd members and lots of old school GM parts. When I go to a salvage yard now a days, I almost never see a RWD car- all FWD. All that stuff is getting hard to find. So there is some value, ..maybe...Do you have good titles for them? Where are you located? If you have the time, check them out a little and determine what shape they are in- Seized engine, etc. Then put on Marketplace for $1000 each, if get $500 apiece let 'em go. Good luck.

Are you sure they won’t run?

Remember that cars in general are terrible financial investments, if that's your goal you're better off buying a pile of gold bricks. The value from something like this comes from having a great driving vehicle that you can do at least some of the work on your self and that is far more maintainable than anything you can get today.

Post '72 cars tend to be hard to sell their parts. The previous poster who stated sell them whole on "FBM" had the right idea.

If the 75 has the 15" bolt on center cap wheels they are worth $500 or more by themselves.
