Started cleaning off my 2.56 Positration rear end out of my 71 Framingham built Supreme. Has never been out or apart and shows to never have had any paint on the upper surfaces - even the top 1 inch of the cover was bare.

Found two white paint splotches on the top surfaces, and a blue paint dot and a yellow line coming off the axle vent.. Will post more pics if I find any more markings.

My lansing built 71 had a ton of markings, codes, blobs and a bunch of aqua colored areas around the outer tube ends. I took pictures before re-creating.
