A not so quick story ....
My neighbor bought a 67 442 4spd brand new when he got back from Vietnam. Ordered it the way he wanted it and drove it for a few years. Sometime in 1971 (I think) he parked it. Built a house, raised a family, life went on. In the midst of all that, the car sat in his garage. About ten years ago, he decided to restore the first car he ever bought. a Model A. He bought it when he was 16 in the mid to late 50s. He did a beautiful job updating it and making it everything he wanted for modern times. With that project coming to completion, he dug out his 442 now showing a whopping 20K on the odometer and remaining 100% original, PERFECT survivor car. I tried to buy it but he declined and has now taken the body off the frame, complete restored & "updated" it and its now getting an EFI conversion. He was originally going to LS it but I along with several others begged him not to do that to this car. He is however removing the third pedal and installing a 700R4 and Vintage A/C. Kind of a crime IMO, but ... it is his car. Currently, the engine & trans are in the frame and he's getting close to putting the body back on.
Anyway, thought it was a neat enough story to share here.

Well, I'm glad to hear he has renewed interest in it and will get it back on the road. Also glad to hear he stored it in a garage, too many cars have been left outside and turn into swiss cheese. It would have been nice if he was willing to sell it to you.

The car is Gold w/ a Blk interior. I own an original BB 67 SS/RS Camaro same color combo so yeah, it would have been cool to have two Gold 67 stick cars.
