Opinion on price for this 70 442

Orig 455 bench seat column shift switched to a b&m star shifter
will need buckets & console in my opinion.
aftermarket hood & spoiler we all know how we feel about those, let alone an early hood that fits like crap on the drivers side. Under 100k miles
code 28 twilight blue
I can get the car for 15k
455 Engines redone
Needs sport mirrors $650-$1000
buckets & console $2500? Maybe more
paint $10-15k from my guy.
Make a nice driver for 35k
nice dash pad and door panels & head liner. Lets hear it been searching.

Well it has some good options. Gauges. Hood lock. Sport wheel. Are sure the hood isn't factory? What heads are on it? Is it the original engine? Body looks fairly clean from the pictures. Is it? No pictures of the front ?

Tires are Newer, Good cragars.
Grilles are New, interior is bench seat needs covers front back
starting to tear.

Maybe you can get a break on the price if you let them keep that awesome spoiler? It will definitely need some interior tlc....but that can be done while you wear out the back tires👍 Could be a nice car.
I have a 69 im gonna be selling but it needs some work before it can be back on the street though.

That sound like a fair deal if the body isn't hiding anything?

Agreed. In today's world if the body is as clean as it looks it probably won't last long at that price.

PS: I don't mind a bench seat.

You will give it good love. Not to pick at it but I personally cannot stand those shifters. That would gone instantly in my book. So generic. Glad you got this. 👍

That should be a neat car when you get finished. But I don't understand the hate for the wings and hoods. It's like a cowl hood on a 69 Camaro; did it come with it? Probably not. But to some it looks a lot better than a flat hood. The Olds OAI hood was part of the pinnacle performance package, what most dream of owning. As long as you're not passing off a fake W-30, who cares?

Well, like the cowl induction hood on the Camaro, it just gets done to death is all.
