Open face alternator

I think that would depend on the application. For example if you had one with the correct number stamped in it for a 1970 W30 car I believe that would bring a higher price than one for just a 1970 442. I don't know enough about them to identify differences, someone else will have to help with that. $50 is about the cheapest price I've seen a core sell for in the recent past. That was for a Chebby not an Olds application. John

Open faced alternators that are blank without numbers, can be found fairly easliy and are usually under $100. Diamond backed 1969 and 1970 application alternators, with a correct Olds, Pontiac, or Corvette part numbers, can be very expensive. Corvette numbered alternators seem to demand the most (ie $800).
