I have the engine out and entire engine compartment gutted, nothing left connected as far as electrical wiring. I would like to do a little rust repair and replace the vinyl on top of the windshield header.

Is it as easy as undoing the two bolts that hold the cylinder rods to the top frame, or is there more to it?

 

That's it, fold it like an accordion...( cylinders need to be in the compacted state)
