one last fairwell!

it's a sad day for this old girl, she has done her last bit of driving.. However she will live on as the parts stripped from her shall be recycled amongst the rest of the oldmobile world as needed, she suffered a long battle of frame / body rot and her time has come to an end... just thought id share the tale of her last goodbye, befrore she heads to the scrapper, on a side note, I didnt realized the 330 i pulled out of her (which was running) was actually a 4bbl until I hooked up the engine to pull it, i have 4 other olds that all had factory 330's in them and they were all 2bbl figures the one i can't save has a 4bbl.. and the build sheet was behind the seat non of my other cars came with one.. I think i'll frame it and hang it in the garge...

Eventually they all do meet their end. But, like you said, the sacrifice is so others may live on.

Boy, If that was a Hemi-Cuda, a '69 ZL-1 Camaro, or better yet a REAL W-30 4-speed ragtop it would be a candidate for a resto. At least some someone will benefit from the ol' girl.

Are you pulling the windshield wiper assembly? In the last year I've had a couple requests for these, so unless its toast that might be a good item to save.

Sad, but I understand how that goes. Had to say goodbye to my 98 last year
